BioMed Realty, in cooperation with city officials and local businesses, will host an event to celebrate the unveiling of a new mural on Thursday, October 3, by Evoo Restaurant at 5 Broad Canal Way from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Muralist Adam O’Day will join city officials, business leaders and families from around the community to celebrate what is part of the massive effort to revitalize and highlight Cambridge’s Canal District Kendall.
Painted on a vent shaft cover outside of Evoo Restaurant, muralist Adam O’Day created a colorful, provocative art piece with vast, vibrant scenery and exquisite detail. Adam is based in Abington, MA and was the winner of Boston’s “Portrait of a City” competition in 2014. The Canal District Kendall is the latest neighborhood to serve as an uncommon canvas for his work.
Join us in celebrating this beauitful piece at Evoo Restaurant with words from Adam O'Day and others. Sponsored by BioMed Realty and Evoo Restaurant from 4-5:30 on October 3rd.
The Canal District Kendall is a growing neighborhood destination where an emerging art scene is surrounded by innovative technology companies. BioMed Realty has been working for over a decade to foster a community where residents and small businesses can flourish, and The Canal District is a major part of that effort.
