MetaMovements is a collective of artists-entrepreneurs who believe in the power of music and dance as a tool for community engagement, cultural exchange and positive transformation. Inspired by the outdoor dance events during our travel programs in Cuba and the Dominican Republic, MetaMovements partners with various organizations, supporters, businesses, and agencies to bring this type of uplifting event to the greater Boston area, helping city streets, parks, and other spaces come alive as hubs of community activities and celebrations of Latinx culture!

This summer MetaMovements will host Salsa In The Park in Canal District Kendall in partnership with BioMed Realty & Masacote! 

People from across Greater Boston come together for these unique celebrations of Latin Dance that have enlivened community spaces since 2007.  Each event starts with small group lessons for people of different ages and abilities, and is followed by a joyful party with performances, music & dance coaching corners, and Latin line dances and partner-dancing… all while enjoying delicious food and drink offerings in a beautiful outdoor setting.
