Popular Food Truck Bibim Box to Pop Up in Canal District Kendall

On December 3, Kendall Square is getting a new Korean restaurant!

Justin and Grace Won, the husband and wife team behind the popular Bibim Box food truck, are bringing their authentic Korean Bibimbap, rice bowls, and noodle salads to the CommonWealth Kitchen takeout kiosk at 300B Athenaeum Street.

CommonWealth Kitchen launched the retail spot last year with deep support from BioMed Realty to provide members of its innovative food business incubator a way to test out running their own take-out restaurant. Every six months, a new member business takes over the restaurant, providing a fresh culinary experience to Kendall Square residents and workers in the neighborhood. Bibim Box will be the third CommonWealth Kitchen member business to pop up in this space following the lead of The Dining Car and Jamaica Mi Hungry.

Join us on December 9 at 11:00 am for a grand opening celebration featuring free samples from Bibim Box, sponsored by BioMed Realty.

CommonWealth Kitchen is Greater Boston’s nonprofit food business incubator. When you purchase food from the take-out kiosk, you help their early-stage food companies grow their business and support CommonWealth Kitchen’s work to build a just and equitable food economy.
